why the hell did it have to snow?

I started gathering some recipes for Japanese and Korean food and as I was writing them using my ink ballpoint pen that I love so much, I started thinking about how ink is durable and wondered whether someone, decades from now, will skim through the pages yellowed by the passing of time, and say "wow! it's my grandma's recipe book!"...
*sigh*

Snoooow!!!

taken 3 days ago, the view from my balcony (3rd floor.)

and these taken an hour ago... it's blurry, because it's snowing heavily...







it's really worse than it seems... to give you the "real stuff" I'd have to go out and take snapshots as I try to make my way through the snow, but there's no way I'm taking the camera out at -10 C. (hmm... I'll try with my phone.... hopefully, my hand won't freeze...)
